Membership Requirements
The membership requirements follow the guidelines adopted in the constitution.
Benefits of Membership
- Formal acknowledgement of your professional status, including being able to display your AMP(K) membership on your CV, business card, email signature, etc
- Network with colleagues, prospective employers and customers at AMP(K) online platform and events
- Share and learn through the Association’s technical forums, helping you to access the collective professional experience and wisdom of your colleagues
- Have your voice heard in the public and private sectors of the Kenyan maritime industry and hence influence important maritime policy and operative issues
- Participate in nurturing the next generation of maritime professionals through interacting and supporting maritime students in the student branch of the AMP(K)
- Devise solutions to challenges in the Kenyan maritime industry, stay abreast of key developments, and advance your knowledge in personal areas of interest through partaking in research under AMP(K) specialized Technical Committees
- Additionally: Students further enjoy professional mentorship & Corporate members enjoy representation in professional forums
Fees
Fees are based on membership level. All payments are due by 31st of December.
For members joining for the first time after 1st January, the membership fees shall be prorated.
