The Technical Committee on Fishing and Maritime Resources (FMR TC) is established by the Council to further the aims and objects of the Association relating to fisheries and other living and non-living marine resources.

The affairs of the FMR TC are conducted in accordance with the regulations established by the Council, and its Head is appointed in accordance with clause I.03 of the Constitution.

FMR TC is a platform for mariners to engage in discussions leading to sound professional pronouncement on contemporary issues of marine resources.

MSS TC aims to contribute to the country’s socio-economic development by providing effective leadership and modern-day solutions to a wide range of issues including Fishing Vessel Safety (FVS), IUU fishing, sustainability use of resources, decarbonisation, marine resource chain value addition, among others.

Membership to MSC TC is open to all members of the Association. Every person who wishes to join MSC TC must submit a written request to the Head of MSC TC at: head_fmrtc@ampk.or.ke
